Five stars for "The Cat's Meow"

Reviewing The Cat's MeowH&P Times editor PJ Taylor has given the production five stars. Here's some of what he wrote: "DARLINGS – the Howick Little Theatre (HLT) has triumphed again with another outstanding choice of drama productions, especially one that keeps an audience’s attention until the last word is uttered on freezing winter nights. It’s staging Steven Peros’ The Cat’s Meow, a Jazz Age tale loosely based on real events that occurred in the heady days of 1924, when money, power and position determined social pecking orders, or worst, whether you could get away with a cold-blooded murder. And on opening night, in the chiller of July 13, it had the full-house crowd on the edge of its seats to the very end" … Read the rest of the review.
