Shepherd - Directed by Nathan Hey
The flock we never knew about

A drama by Gary Henderson/NZ/2014

Directed by Nathan Hey

Season: Sept 10 to Oct 1, 8pm
Matinees: Sept 19, 2pm

Award-winning NZ playwright Gary Henderson brings us this provocative vision of New Zealand, but not the country as we know. In remote, misty and rain-soaked Fiordland, the Shepherd family run their flock, supplying a hungry world. With a contract to fulfil, and a family to shelter, they find the line between humanity and inhumanity becoming dangerously blurred. Shepherd – if you liked Black Mirror and Years and Years, you’ll love this! Adult content.

Special event on Thurs, 29th September, when Gary Henderson, the playwright, will be speaking at an after-show Q&A session – book early to reserve your seat.

Starring: Emily Briggs (Victoria),  Matthew Cousins (Daniel), Jane Larsen (Susan),  Joshua Bruce (Jeff), Ruth Hyde (Ruth), Rosheen Leslie (Charlie) and Dean Leppan (Thomas).
