The talented young musicians who make up the St Andrew's Big Band are returning to HLT in December for two fundraising concerts, Joyful, Joyful, on Saturday, 7 December, at 2pm and 7pm. Under leader Hamish Arthur, the band will be performing their usual mix of uplifting music from artists mix of jazz and big band classics by Cannonball Adderley, George Gershwin, and Glenn Miller, along with a few festive favourites. Funds raised at the concerts will go to the Auckland City Mission and to help Howick Little Theatre's fundraising for the roof renewal.
